Dr. Elena Chan was born in Venezuela, and raised in Miami. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Cantonese (Chinese). She is dedicated to serve her patients and community, and is constantly looking for new ways to stay up to date on the advances in research. She has received an award from her clinical professors for outstanding clinical performance. Dr. Chan believes that medical care changes when the provider is compassionate, engaged, and providing solutions to her patient's ocular complaints
Education: Florida International University - Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Doctorate of Optometry - Interamerican University of Puerto Rico
