Cocktails and Conversation is a new networking format that the ICC has started to allow it's members and attendees to network in an environment conducive to making new business relations.  The following photo essay reflects back on the last three Cocktails and Conversations.

April 23, 2002 - Sherman Street Event Complex

April 23rd TableTalk lined the sides of the 2nd floor ballroom at the Event Complex.  People circled the tables and made new contacts.

TableTalk wasn't the only place networking was happening.  The ballroom filled up with people roaming the room looking for the right contact.

A view from above.

Another great view from the mezzanine; a great place to get above the crowd and get an overview of the layout.

Cocktails & Conversation runs from 4:30 pm - 7:00pm.  A convenient time frame for people to step out of the office and into a relaxing deal-making environment.

ICC Ambassador, Byron James, chats with attendees in the sign-in room about the benefits of being an ICC Sponsor.

Jim Intriglia (left) sits in on the C-Level TableTalk.  This table was such a success, people were asking all night how to get in on the conversation.

Another view of the C-Level TableTalk.  Does this mean we now need a C-Level Room?  Looks a little packed...

Attendees crowded in from all angles to hear about what the C-Level Executives were talking about.  Must be something positive--nothing attracts attention like good news!

TableTalk tables cater to different niches.  The Consultants table is intended for consultants to form relationships to refer contacts and clients.

Even though there's rumor of the job scene improving, opportunity seekers exchange tips and leads.  Hopefully even some encouraging words.

May 1, 2002 - Computer & Technology Showcase

Caron Ellis, an ICC volunteer, poses behind the sign-in table at the CTS show.  Thank you for all your help, Caron!

After the long day of being at the CTS show, attendees and ICC members mixed and mingled in the afternoon to kick back for a while.

Cocktails and Conversation was held in the middle of the show room floor--where else could you find room for all these people?

Another shot of the afternoon event.

Steve Miller (left) of IdeaSource, and Conrad hall (center) of NetNewsDesk chat with a fellow attendee about their great new products.
One last parting shot of the May 1 Cocktails and Conversation.

May 21, 2002 - Sherman Street Event Complex

Mark Franke - President of Relatrix, an ICC Sponsor, chats with an attendee.  Like most, they're probably planning their trip to the new TableTalk room.

Securitas shines in the middle of the floor of the ballroom.

LiquidCompass folks chat the evening away.  When Zack Lewis (center), CEO of Liquid Compass was asked why he attended, he responded, "Because I saw my photo in the ICC Newsletter."

Hip Consulting Group exhibits in a hip venue.

The Colorado Technical University table gets one of many visitors.

Barrett Stillings(left) of The Design Mine, chats with others in the corner.

A view of one of the packed tables in the new TableTalk room.

The Consultants table once again packs them in.

The New Product Development table attracts many--which is a great thing to see. New products = new business.

C-Level Executives have a pow-wow in the corner of the TableTalk room.
XO Communications banner is a precursor to their broadband connectivity coming soon to the 1770 Sherman Street Event Complex.  Wi-Fi access here we come!
Vern Jaques(right) of XO Communications, chats with an event attendee.

Jim Intriglia, Barry Gingrich, and Terrie O'Connell catch up outside the TableTalk room.

Alf Gardner and Frank Traditi pause for a second to pose for the camera.

Byron James and Cody Pearson comparing notes on the event.  So far, so good.

Why have an exhibit table when you can have a 10 foot banner?  Kudos to The Design Mine.

Mike McDonald (right) President of Lantech will be working with XO Communications in providing Internet connectivity for future ICC events. Our exhibitors and speakers will soon get a chance to participate in another milestone for this 1907 building. It was one of the first to be wired for electricity in Denver!
